Importing a map from Image/Server is unusable

The "File > Import > Map from Server" Feature seems broken. No window opens.

Using "… from Image" imports a given image, but how can it be positioned properly? After that it constantly shows "Waypoint 1 is not set!"

I don't know if it's related, trying to set a waypoint ("Map > Set Waypoint 1") and clicking on the map creates a new popup for a few milliseconds which then disappears.

Update: I read the help and played with the old KisMac-Version. If I could set Waypoint 1 and 2 properly I could align the map properly.
