Running the So far I can tell it's because there's a missing So it seems this It may have to do that for some reason it didn't pull the ngspice repo properly which is weird, and so this I think the solution might be in this SO question I will try to setup and see what happens:

I uncommented it out temporarily and also OpenRoad is not building. I think I now fully appreciate how complicated it is to mantain this environment!

You can use the existing (pre-built) Docker images, start them as root, and thus install PIP and other packages you want to use:

I've just cloned the repo and tried to build it in my local Docker to make some edits, and the latest
main
