Our current deployment is only half-complete in the presentation of data to non-student learners:
For a user who is registered in Ilios with a role of instructor (3), but has been added via a secondary cohort as a learner, when they are enrolled as part of that cohort in any session, they will still only see on their calendar the events for which they are associated as an instructor. Since they are not identified with a student role (4), they will not have the option of the toggle on their dashboard to switch to the learner view.
This is primarily an issue
This can be resolved by:
completing the work of consolidating calendar views for all user roles, and allowing google calendar-type filtering/layering of data by selection.
creating a mechanism to identify students who have "graduated" from their programs --- and so are not listed by the registrar or EDS as "students" --- but effectively are now acting as clinical residents.
