ilios_dom.js is a toxic train wreck that needs to be destroyed. Not sure writing unit tests is the way to go, as all the important functionality is hard to test in its current design. Maybe we need to actually find all the calls to its ridiculous functions and replace them with more maintainable and testable structures?
