the network use cnn+lstm, for the cnn part, it contains a max pool, and for the lstm part, it need the time step, so time step = image width/pool_scale.
it seems you use your own training data or change the length of the captcha. for the first case, how many data are you using, for the second case, you may need to change the super parameter to make it converge.

there exists some difference between the standard and the warpCTC. so if you simply change that, you may not get the result you wanted.
In the beta version, the length of the data does not have to be the same.
BTW, your machine does not support warpCTC?
