OpenRXV seems to have an artificial limit of 9,999 for metadata terms in the frontend user interface. For example, on CGSpace the ILRI community has 10,970 occurrences of the subject term "livestock", but on AReS it displays 9,999:

We harvest that field into an "other" subjects field along with other center and CRP subjects and AReS only displays 9,999:

To reproduce the issue:

  • Select community filter "International Livestock Research Institute"
  • Select additional subject filter "livestock"

This doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. I now see 11,468 results in other subjects for "livestock":
