Firefox: all fine
Chrome: transition from slide 2 to 3 not possible
Safari: all transitions work, but text not displayed (only buttons)

all tested on mac osx 10.8.2.

That does not look good. I cannot reproduce any of these on 10.8.2

Just tried on a colleague's 10.8.3. Could not reproduce neither of the problems in Chrome and Safari. Did you test it with http://remittances.herokuapp.com ?

Maybe there are some browser extensions which interfere?

Seems to be a problem with my local instance. Works fine on herokuapp.com
