Using Up Next to populate a "Continue Watching" Netflix-style widget

I'm looking for a way to add a widget that continues where you left off on a TV Series. So each item in the widget would be either the most recently watched in-progress episode, or if there isn't one, the episode after the most recently watched one. If selected, the episode would play, followed by the next episode in that TV Series, and so on.

Titan Bingie Mod has an example of roughly what I mean, and it's powered by Up Next if I'm not mistaken.

I know there are resources for developers to integrate this service into their skin, but wouldn't it be nice to have a list like this within the Up-Next add-on itself, so that it could be added via widget to any skin?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense or is outside the bounds of what the developers are trying to accomplish with this add-on.

You can get a widget with that functionality from Skin Helper Widgets , called "Next Episodes". It will show any in progress shows, and the episode following the next played in started shows - even respecting when special episodes appear mid-season. I use it and love it, but it does take a few seconds to refresh
