Describe alternatives you've considered
Would you please share your clear and concise description of any alternative/similar documentation you've considered.

The original cookiecutter-pypackage has a manual release and history update.

(The original entry is located in /home/dev/projects/cookiecutter-py3-package/docs/source/pypi_release_checklist.rst, line 19.)

Additional context
Would you please share any other context or screenshots about the documentation request here.

cookiecutter-py3-package has an automatic CHANGELOG that updates correctly each time a new release gets created. Therefore updating history is no longer required.
