Tmux is a terminal multiplexer.
This is a list of keybinds that works with my setup.
The setup can be changed by editing the tmux.conf
file.
- Tmux has sessions you can open and save to use next time they run in the backgroud (cleared when device is restarted).
- Inside these sessions you have windows, think of them as tabs in a browser or in a modern gui terminal multiplexer.
- These windows then have panes that you can split and resize to have a shell insde of them.
To start any command you must press Ctrl+b
. Also known as C-b
.
In this document it is addressed as prefix
