play() can only be initiated by a user gesture.

I suspect it is Samsung devices preventing playing the chord sounds because it is not triggered by a button element and instead triggered by a span: https://stackoverflow.com/a/54719419

Sound playback successfully tested on my LG phone in Chrome on Android 8.1
