Based on conversations with @trishankatdatadog.

ITE-2 was merged as a draft back in May 2020. With ITE-3 now accepted as of #25, it is probably a good time to discuss if ITE-2 is ready for acceptance as well. ITE-2 discusses a standard method of combining in-toto and TUF to build compromise resilient CI/CD systems, and ITE-3 discusses a practical implementation of this system at Datadog.

ITE-2 was accepted in the February community meeting! (#30, #31)
