Extension does redirect although there is no translation of page #24

Steps

Create new page in default language (and do not translate page)
Open URL in browser, for example: mysite.tld/test

Observed behaviour:
Visitors are redirected from mysite.tld/test to mysite.tld/en/test which results in an 404 error

Expected behaviour:
Stay on mysite.tld/test or go to home page if no translation exists

Environment:
TYPO3 9.5.14
IPandLanguageRedirect 3.1.0
Configuration is set to automatic redirect without suggest message
