When Obs doesn't save because of validation error, and CID not updated from ID, there should be some user facing signal

Alot of times when the community asks why the CID doesn't update, it is because an observation is invalid, e.g. this one

it would be nice if there was some user facing signal to help the community understand when an obs is invalid
