@sarahcd sex is now populated for the GPS records. Should we set lifeStage for those records to adult if the animal was an adult when captured?

cool! For lifeStage, I have a slight preference to leave it as is, based on your point that it is part of the information only documented at the time of tag attachment, like animal mass or equipment/attachment details.
pro: More informative/consistent data for cases when animals are tagged as adults. (Often all animals in a dataset are adults.)
con: Where there are adults + missing/other values in the same dataset (also common), the information is not provided consistently. One can still automate routines based on age of all-adult deployments but cannot make assumptions about others.

Ok, just so I understand your preference: no lifeStage for any GPS records?
