Pagination of large data sets

We're currently building an app that will potentially have a large volume of pages for pagination. We'd like to use the pagination widget, but the current Rivet pagination design does not support two user interactions that are commonly associated with pagination within a large volume of pages:

1. The ability to quickly get to either the first or last page in a large collection of pages.

2. The ability to quickly see the total number of pages available in the pagination navigation.

Attached are a few design suggestions that will improve the UX for paginating large data sets:
