We would be able to get the RPM from an official, supported Repo like "Fedora Project" or "Red Hat." It looks like there is no near-term solution for that (see #6454, #1098). So as an alternative, we would like to obtain the src RPM, so that we can create the RPM manually to be available on our local, trusted server.
I saw that there was previously a package.sh file at the top-level of the project for creating an RPM, but that file was removed in 2015. Was that script moved to another public project, so that we can use it to build our own RPM? Or is the source RPM available somewhere?

I found the 'releng' directory and its associated scripts on the non-master branch (e.g. version 1.8). That seems to have the scripts that we are looking for to generate our own RPMs.
