The waters off of KSC can sometimes be treacherous in rough weather. The KSC Coast Guard needs a few navigation buoys dropped at (location) to help surface vessels find their way home in a storm. The buoys will contain a barometer to also provide data to KSC scientists of any impending storms.

Lt. Dan Kerman wants you to take Ens. Ro Kerman on a buoy drop over (location). Once you accept this mission, the KSC Coast Guard will forward you the plans for building a buoy in your SPH, and will forward you funds to build two of them. You are welcome to use the provided plans, or else build your own buoys, but the buoys dropped for this mission must contain a barometer.

You may use an airplane, helicopter, or VTOL.

Your aircraft must
have a pilot, engineer, and scientist
load Ens. Ro Kerman
have on board 2 navigation buoys (hidden barometer check)

air drop buoys over target area
at waypoint 1
at waypoint 2

and land back at KSC
at either
the KSC runway
or the VAB helipad
or the SPH - test this, and perhaps update all Coast Guard to use this

safely

and recover
Ens. Ro Kerman
