Hello,

I'm actually not able to install inkscope on RedHat 7.2

RedHat repackaged Ceph and they did not integrated the package named "ceph" which is a dependency of "inkscope-cephrestapi-1.4.0-2".

Furthermore, they haven't ceph-rest-api package.

Is it possible to do something which allows me to install inkscope on a RH7.2 cluster?

PS: There is no problem to install sysprobe and cephprobe, only on ceph-rest-api

Hello HugoLS

" A better way is to make ceph-rest-api part of the inkscope server by launching ceph-rest-api as an apache wsgi application. " Try this option its easier and better.

If you still want to lauch ceph-rest-api heres the rpm

https://github.com/inkscope/inkscope-packaging/tree/master/RPMS

I suggest you to install inkScope on CentOS or Debian.

Best regards

Hello Hugo,
I confirm that "inkscope-cephrestapi-1.4.0-2" is not needed if you launch ceph-rest-api as an apache wsgi application.
You only need ceph-rest-api.py which is part ceph or ceph-common packages
