Issue

Disabling firestore persistence via settings has no effect on iOS Simulator. I just discovered that it works on Android. I have no real iOS device available, so I can not say if it works or not.

I don't add a snippet at this point as it is really just very basic and as it works on Android, so it can't be too wrong.
