location not working

On Android 8.1.0 the location service is not running properly.
With the app minimized no location data will be send.
If the app is opened the interval set to send data is ignored.
On high accuracy the update interval will be about 1 sec and with high accuracy disabled the interval is about 10 sec, regardless of the value.
