I am having a serious issue ATTACHING TO TANGLE. It doesn't matter what node I connect to or what curl implementation I use, as soon as I select to Attach To Tangle, my wallet window goes black. I have uninstalled the light wallet, reinstalled the wallet, bounced between various nodes, specifically bitfinex, mainnet and node1, I have bounced between webgl2 and ccurl. I am also missing all my funds but I cannot generate a new address as I mentioned, as soon as I attempt to attach to tangle, the black screen hits. Please if anybody can help

Please see wallet version and PC specs below. Attach please find screenshots

Wallet Info:

IOTA Light Wallet 2.5.1 - IRI 1.4.0

PC Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Bulldozer
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Windforce Edition
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
RAM: Kingston 8GB DDR3 HyperX FURY
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P

UPDATE

I booted into a freshly formatted drive I had setup weeks ago but never had the chance to install drivers, update etc, so it was an absolute clean install, no drivers or alt software, installed the wallet, edited weight to 14, selected webgl2, connected to mainnet, attached to tangle, successfully, generated new address 3 times, on the 3rd time BOOM all my funds, logged out, booted to primary "problem" drive, opened same wallet that gave me shit, selected 14 webgl2 mainnet, BOOM funds available, no clue what was the issue, but its fixed, wallet works, all funds there

Same here, missing all my funds with the new version. Have updated to 2.5.1.1 - IRI 1.4.0, when trying to attach to tangle - black screen.

Windows 10 x64 Pro
NVidia GeForce 9600 GT with the latest available driver 21.21.13.4201

Any ideas?

I can confirm this issue.

It can be solved by starting the wallet.exe with --ignore-gpu-blacklist flag
(Credits to @Pointner on Slack)

Nvidea GeForce GT 650M here by the way

It doesn't seem to be the universal fix as I tried the exact same thing suggested by a user

Have you attempted going to chrome://gpu in and enabling hardware accelerated canvas?

@Xepec check my UPDATED section on the above thread. @paulhandy I did not before as I ended up resolving my issue, however currently under chrome://gpu I do find WebGL2 listed as unavailable. Canvas using software only, hardware acceleration unavailable. Very odd seeing that the wallet works now using the fresh boot drive workaround

I've seen this issue on Ubuntu 16.04. Switching the Curl implementation to Ccurl worked as a workaround there.
