#979 # Bug description
I download the official AppImage, did this "chmod +x" thing, started the AppImage and nothing happened (no window appeared). I already tried running it in the terminal or with "AppImageLauncher".

  • Dell Laptop

  • Linux (Kubuntu 19.04)

  • libsecret and gnome-keyring installed

  • Trinity version: 1.1.0 (I tried other versions as well)

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Donwloaded
  2. Set the permissions
  3. Started the app

Expected behaviour

Trinity should start.

Actual behaviour

Nothing happens.

Errors

No error messages (no window appears).
If I start the AppImage using the Terminal:

(trinity-desktop:14547): Gtk-WARNING **: 18:36:06.680: Theme parsing error: gtk.css:68:35: The style property GtkButton:child-displacement-x is deprecated and shouldn't be used anymore. It will be removed in a future version

Okay, I could fix this bug by deleting ".config/Trinity".
