I’m not quite clear on exactly what we’re looking to do here. Is this about…

  1. How to publish and manage things in gx? (It looks like @schomatis is starting to dig into UX issues in gx over on the gx issues)
  2. How to import go-ipfs as a library in a Go program without needing gx?
  3. How to do the above in the abstract (import any package that uses gx for its dependencies when you don’t use gx)?
  4. Something else?

If it's case number 1 maybe whyrusleeping/gx-go#46 will address part of this issue.

@Kubuxu -- this one got dredged out of the sands of time (March 2017), so I'm closing due to inactivity. If it's not actually deprecated, please open a new issue. Thank you!
