It would be neat to annotate the contributors list in our release posts with extra thanks/celebration/love for those in the list for whom it is their first contribution to IPFS.

Let's give them an extra special welcome as they pass through the interplanetary portal.

Sounds like a great idea, would you like to submit a PR that adds this (along with suitable emojis, obvs)?

Proper way looks like to add to NYC, so I filed an issue floating the idea: mntnr/name-your-contributors#109

If they reject, we can just add it here.
