Thanks for this, I've got it running on the latest firmware!
I wondered if it would be possible to get rid of the unknown temp status in HA Lovelace card for the Omega, since it doesn't has an onboard CPU temp sensor..
Also, I had to copy the "omega-reporter" from the code here, the one in the Source code (tar.gz) was an older version which wouldn't run. Additional to get it run, I had to install some dependencies from the mqtt plant sensor project, which inspired you. No idea what exactly, but the after having errors I gave that one a go and afterwards your code passed through as well.
I had to uncomment as well some #for openwrt opkg packages. But I managed, and I really appreciate the effort you have put into it! And run on boot, I had to do otherwise.
Ps: do you know of a way to read GPiO sensors and publish them as mqtt on the Omega?
