Moonshine::Nodejs¶ ↑

A plugin for installing Node.js and npm (from source)¶ ↑

This plugin installs and configures node.js for your server. Just include the plugin and recupe, deploy and you will have node.js on your server.

Options:

:version => '0.4.11' (default)
:npm_version  => '1.0.26' (default)
:npm_clean    => 'yes' (default)

This plugin can install the latest unstable version but defaults to 0.4.11.

Instructions¶ ↑

• script/plugin install git://github.com/iros/moonshine_nodejs.git

• To customize rules, use the configure method:

  configure(:nodejs => {
      :version      => '0.5.4', 
      :npm_version  => '1.0.26', 
      :npm_clean    => 'yes'})
  

• Include the recipe in your Moonshine manifest.

  recipe :nodejs
