Unable to connect to Libera.Chat

My irssi is unable to reach the Libera.Chat servers, even though my computer is perfectly operational and connected to the Internet. The system claims that I am connecting or even fully connected and operational, and yet I am unable to join a channel on the server.

I am unsure about the location of the error log; I am unable to detect any obvious issues or errors. I have checked for a verbose-mode option, which does not exist.

Update: I have just replaced my older irssi version with your latest version, irssi 1.4.5.

On my earlier version, I had attempted:

/connect libera.chat
/join #ubuntu

Even after installing the latest version, I am still having problems with this application (I also have a graphical application for IRC that functions successfully, so I am unsure what is different here).

@novaTopFlex notice the server name, should be irc.libera.chat

Also given the screenshot you posted, at no point does irssi tell you that you are connected to anything.
