That's really weird. I can't reproduce this using bash 5.0.0, 5.0.1, 5.0.2, or 5.0.3. Can you try |
I commented out my .bashrc (in case there was any weirdness there affecting it), and then ran |

If my theory is correct, then v2.4.1 should fix your problem. |
On Linux 4.14.74-1-MANJARO, in bash 5.0.2, with npm 6.4.1 and nave@2.2.4, I get a syntax error, preventing me from changing versions.
