No notification for order ID …

If you do not use a notification within the Checkout module (like when you only use the notifications of order statuses), you'll see the following "error" reported in the system log:

Does it really need to be logged as an error, or logged at all?

This is intended, I think you're really supposed to configure a notification. Be aware that the order status notification should not be used for new orders (it might not contain all data)!
