Around 1000 comments per thread result in 11 second response time from the server and > 30 second rendering time in the browser. Better fetch only e.g. 20 comments and load more during scrolling (or on "show more" click).

Because of nested comments, this cannot be done directly.

One way would be to have a thread-wise show more button (if there's more in that thread) in addition to the global one (if there's more global comments).

I am thinking of working on it this weekend. What do you think @posativ? Is there a better way?
