Describe the feature request

This issue is a placeholder for user to submit the feedback of auto mTLS. Please comment on this issue to give us feedback. For example, considering

  • Do you encounter any issues of auto mutual TLS? Any application/traffic starts to break after opt-in this feature?
  • Do you have any concern if we turn this on by default, while still keep the Helm option to disable it?

Note to myself, if we want to deprecate the auto mTLS option, we need to remember the minimal profile as mtls.auto==false since that does not have security component installed (no citadel, only pilot, no one issue x509 key/cert)
