PayPal error when buying ebook

When paying for the Offworld Collection ebook through PayPal I only get an error message after signing into PayPal after clicking Pay with PayPal button from the store page's Buy modal: "We can't process your payment right now, so please try again later. We're sorry for the inconvenience." The browser console shows this error: "TypeError: PAYPAL.AP.Subflow is not a constructor checkout.js:11:10".

I am running Firefox 57 on Windows 10 Home.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. The JavaScript error is most likely unrelated to why the payment didn't go through. Some sellers on our system are using an older "direct payments" method, and if they try to receive a payment that their account isn't configured to accept then it will get blocked. We typically recommend sellers to move to our "deferred" payment method from their account settings.
