I can see a Package-DUDPage or something like it that would take everything and publish a one file dashboard ready to use on an environment where DUD is not installed.

Also, this could be handy to publish only a page and its datasource into a single file ready to execute so you can share it and / or use it in a UD bug request

The important point is Packaged items would not need DUD dashboard.
