After entering/leaving full screen mode keyboard shortcuts stops working and you have to use your mouse to click somewhere on the page in order to have working shortcuts again. Very annoying.

This is bug is still present, all keybinding will not work(J,K,L,F), if any player button is clicked with mouse, unless manually clicking somewhere on the player

To reproduce(tested on Firefox, Chromium browsers):

  1. Click on any of the buttons, Volume, Full screen, CC, Settings or Share.
  2. Now test any keybindings such as JKLF working
  3. See they do not work

This is not Firefox-specific, I can reproduce this on Chrome, Brave and Safari as well, on Mac/WIndows/Linux (Safari was tested only on Mac, Brave and Chrome on all 3)

By the way does Invidous use videojs? If so, I think that this is due to this behaviour of Videojs videojs/video.js#6884 (comment)

this can be fixed, however - for example, this plugin when the option alwaysCaptureHotkeys is set to true always listens to hotkeys regardless of focus https://github.com/ctd1500/videojs-hotkeys

I am afraid that this issue was erroneosly marked as "done" by a bot, when in fact the issue is still present in Invidious.
