It was working until yesterday when the margins of the email layout turned white:

How do I correct this to make it dark again? Thank you.

Yup. I just created a PR for this (#25). In the meantime, you can use the styles from my PR branch.

@Noexpert It seems like the dev might've abandoned this project. So I went ahead and created gmail-dark-extended which I'll be actively maintaining. Feel free to try it out.
