This is a recurrence of an old issue: #21
When the preview updates, key presses are dropped making typing very difficult!

It was previously closed but seems to have re-emerged as a result of adding vertical slides #12
or something else that happened in the update to v0.4

  • occurs on OS X 10.9.5, Firefox 45.0.2
  • does not occur on OS X 10.9.5, Chromium 30.0.1580.0
  • does not occur in OS X 10.9.5, Safari 7.0.6

This sounds familiar from when I was trying out hackerslides several weeks ago, before the vertical slides were implemented, so it may not be new. That was with Firefox on Linux. Looks like all reports so far have usage of Firefox in common.

Unfortunately, this is still an issue. Hacker-slides would be really wonderful project, but this issue makes it almost unusable - I am certainly not going to create a presentation in editor that stops responding after every key press.

I am on Win 10 Pro. In Chrome, editing is delayed after key is pressed, in Firefox editing stops completely (characters are 'eaten').

If this is fixed, then all hail to the creator.
