Define a Parent like all other Jakarta EE Specs:

    <parent>
        <groupId>org.eclipse.ee4j</groupId>
        <artifactId>project</artifactId>
        <version>1.0.5</version>
    </parent>

are you sure?
The pom,.xml does not have anything.
