How To Fix? wallpaper cropped and mouse displaced

Hi, sorry if dumb question, but im new to Hyprland. Your script is awesome! But my 3440x1440 screen shows the wallpaper cropped, zoomed in, and its from the exact same resolution (this happens with any wallpaper). I did also set my second screen wich is vertical 1920x1080 and wallpapers of the same res as this, in vertical, dont even show when selecting them.
Also I dont know if its related to this but on the main ultrawide display, theres a quarter of the left part in wich mouse doesnt properly works when using my browser (Thorium, Librewolf), its like if it were displaced and cant properly do the clicks cause its like if mouse were too much to the right

I dont have experience with wqhd monitors bur I know there are some users of my dots who uses ultra wide but Ive never heard issues from theme

have you checked via hyprctl monitors if your monitors are right or correcr?

after installation, did you reboot?

try reinstalling swww if it works

Im guessing since you said your cursor cant go somewhere, my guess is monitors was not set properly or probably drivers etc...

if hyprctl monitors state you have proper resolution, refresh etc,

try setting an swww manually.

download a wqHD wallpaper...and then set using swww

swww img /path to wallpaper....

Hi, I tried everything and the problem seems to persist. swww img still does put the walppaper cropped/zoomed-in hyprctl monitors seems to be correct, this is the output:

Well funny enough tomorrow I will have if not that same model monitor tomorrow mine is the 27" model it will be darn near the same. I will be using AMD or Intel video adapters but I will see how it goes for me. As Jak mentioned others at the resolution haven't reported any problems. Please run inxi --full >diag.txt and upload that file please

the one thing that sticks out is that your are on 0.41 of hyprland. On the discord server I've seen people reporting issues with it. I tried it on a NIXOS system and it didn't go well for me. Not compatible with stylix was one huge problem Could be driver issues with AMD too. Thank you for the file.

BTW having said that I have another NIXOS system w/o stylix and an older kernel 6.6.x with AMD processor and video that's working fine so far in NIXOS with 0.41 But the build it actually from today. :) Hopefully the monitor arrives tomorrow OK

Oh thats cool. I just installed minimal arch and used the autoscript of JaKooLit so this has to have been installed by the script. Is there a safe way to update? And could I try something related to the AMD drivers? Thanks in advance. Besides this im really enjoying hyprland and this autoscript is so good and useful for learning :)

BTW and update on 0.41 and Stylix you have to explicitly enable it Not sure what changed but the issue I had with 0.41 is resolved thank goodness

Well I got my 4K monitor and all is working perfectly. :( I am at 3840x2160@60
I really don't know where to go from here. What if you dropped it to 2k?

mine is not on 3840x2160@60 but on 3440x1440@60
