I’m trying to get an old iPhoto library into Apple Photos. I used
https://github.com/BMorearty/exportiphoto
as a starting point, and modified to use IPTC metadata.

I think it’s working pretty well now. I’d like to post my code on GitHub and would like for that version to work with the iptcinfo3 available on PyPI.

@AlexSzatmary awesome. Yeah the long pole in tent is that pypi changed their process I believe to push packaged libraries, so I need to investigate that.

I'd like to put my fork of exportiphoto on GitHub for the sake of the next person in a similar situation. If this package is updated on PyPI by then, I'll list it as a dependency. Otherwise, I'll simply copy in iptcinfo3.py from here without modification; please ping me if you do upload to PyPI at that point.
