For some series more than a language is availavle on thetvdb.com but for some reason it takes a language that is not english in the app.

This will be because of commit 534b664. The proper fix would be to let the user choose a language. More realistically given how much free time I have this will be fixable by choosing english if available, and falling back to the first result.

Could you please provide a link to a show which has this problem? In my (limited) testing, if english was available it was always the default.

Hello. I've noticed that Castle (2009) and Navy CIS: L.A. show the problem

This happened to me with The Americans. I had to search for "The Americans 2013" for the proper show to appear in the list. It didn't show up if I didn't include the year...only the German version of the show, and one other one.
