Hi,

Concerning the graphics, it would be perfect if we could have more advanced graphic options (ggplot2-like) with :

  • aesthetics options : chosing colors, sizes, shapes, labels on the x-axis and on the y-axis
  • geometry options : chosing the type of plot (plot, histogram, heatmap, boxplot, etc.)

Sincerly

Jamovi 1.0 is approaching and I was wondering if you had time to take this enhancement in consideration i.e. including a kind of ggplot2-like options in the jamovi graphics.

Cheers and keep up the good work!

hi,

plot customization won't come till after the 1.0 sorry. our emphasis for the time being is on letting people run all the analyses they need, where as plot customization is more about the 'presenting' of findings.

that will come in phase 2 - sorry, i know you've been waiting for this one for a long time!

Ok, I look forward for phase 2, then :) For example, boxplots are grey and it's not very ink-wise when I have to print them, so I make them in R, for the moment.
See you in a few months about this topic ^^

I really like the

little histograms, the sort of cartoonish almost look. Be nice to change the labels.
