I am running the addon with version 1.12.10 on an RPi 2 with OpenELEC 5.0.6 and have the following problem: If I watch a recording completely then it is not marked as watched. I can however manually mark it as watched. Any idea what causes this? Marking as partially watched (IsResumable=true) works automatically

Hi, thanks to report. This functionality is available from Myth 0.28 which provides API service to set the flag. Unfortunately it was forgotten in Myth 0.27 API. Previous version of addon, using libcmyth, updated myth database to change the flag. Now we no longer hack the database, and addon use only API or protocol commands.
What is the version of your backend ?

First of all, thanks for your quick answer. Unfortunately I am still on 0.27. I guess there is no chance at all that we'll get it there and there are also no workarounds?

An additional question: couldn't the same thing that happens on manual "mark as watched" be automatically called at the end of a recording?

Now not really, trying manually don't update the flag in backend. If you restart Kodi, manually changed flags will be reseted. But i think one thing: i could use Kodi status, which is saved in Kodi database, instead backend for pre 0.28. It will resolve the miss. Could be ok for you ?

Sure. The only difference would be that it is stored in Kodi, not in MythTV and therefore won't be visible across multiple Kodi installations? That isn't a problem for me.

If you could point me in the direction where to implement it I could also try myself if you want to spend your time on things in the addon that won't get thrown away with 0.28
