dib does nothing on closing bracket

Start out with the following text:

foo (bar)

In gVim, positioning the cursor on the ) and doing dib deletes inside the brackets. In VsVim nothing happens. It does work for both if you do it on the (.

It's the same deal for the other commands, so it seems to be a text object issue.
