Chef is emitting deprecation warnings:

The  resource in the zypper cookbook should declare `unified_mode true` at 1 location:
  - /var/chef/cache/cookbooks/zypper/resources/repo.rb

This is no longer maintained. To my knowledge Chef now has these resources baked in, I would recommend using them.
