I used JASP version 0.16.4 for about a year. One week ago, I tried to install the newest version of JASP which is version 0.18.0. However, I wanted to use it but it keeps on freezing. I could open the app, but when I tried to open a JASP file, it kept loading, and at the end, it wasn't responding. The app was "not responding" so I decided to try the previous version. I tried version 0.17.3 and 0.17.0 but the problem keeps on happening. I reinstalled the 0.16.4 version but I still experience the same thing. I don't know what is happening. Can you please help me so I can use JASP again?
UPDATE on 10.32 pm:
I can open the file now, using the 0.16.4 version. However, it is still a bit laggy. Sometimes the app was also "not responding". Any recommendation to prevent this from happening? Thank you!

Hi @keziakevina If your file comes from JASP 0.16.4, there might be some upgrade issues. Can you open a file from the Data library, or open a JASP file you have just made using 0.18.1? Would it be possible to give us your JASP file (for this you should convert it into a zip file first, and add it to this issue)?

Please reopen, if you re-tested with 0.18.3 and if you can share your data. Also make sure not to include too many analysis in one file. I saw "not responding" issues in the past with files that had >30 analysis or so. Depending on the CPU and RAM of your system this might overwhelm it. Especially cheaper laptops.
