  • JASP version: 0.10.2
  • OS name and version: OS Mojave 10. 14.5
  • Analysis:
  • Bug description: JASP is automatically closed every time I run mediation analysis; the name of the variables cannot be shown in result
  • Add JASP files as a zip:
  • Screenshot:

Could you please add the jasp file as a zip to this thread so we can look into this more easily?

Probably this has to do with #420, which has been fixed for the next version. See also the workaround there

Hi Liviayul,

I can confirm two vankesteren's point:

  • For your current version of JASP (v0.10.2): Once the first letter is changed to a lower case, mediation shows the names properly. Sorry for this inconvenience. For your convenience, I've added the adjusted JASP file as a zip:
    Data LCC sMall fIrstLetter.jasp.zip

  • The good news is that the next release of JASP solved this bug, which means that you don't have to change the first letter to a lower case, see
