However, do you have any thoughts or plans on the PHP 8.0 update?

Hi @Dafnik, thank you so much! I don't have any specific plans regarding php 8.0 for this library yet. Is there anything specific you would like to see beyond updating the composer.json php version requirement?

No, I don't think there is anything to do other than changing the supported php version in the composer.json.

I'm currently testing the library on an PHP 8 project. Seems like everything is working!

@Dafnik I've refactored some test code to work with later versions of phpunit and added a new release with PHP 8 support.
