Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently this plugin is quite expensive on the CPU.

Describe the solution you'd like
It may be possible to interleave the channels for a stereo signal, and then use SIMD processing to process multiple channels in parallel. This won't be possible for every part of the plugin, but I want to see if it can at least be done for the "Hysteresis" section which typically eats up the most CPU.
