I found out that for some reason i loose the connection in our network if pushy is idle. When I send push messages every 30 seconds and it works. Is it possible to do s.t. small to keep the connection up?

We're actually discussing some changes that should address this issue in the next release. In the meantime (and mostly due to the design of the APNs protocol), I'm afraid there isn't a whole lot to be done.
…to be clear, though, APNs as a protocol doesn't have any way to keep a connection alive or even know if the connection is still good or not. Anything we come up with is going to be a bit of a hacky workaround.
